I started with the Lenoir City Fire Department in 1985 as an apprentice firefighter, I was one of the first 6 career firefighters hired by the city.  Since that time I have worked through the ranks and have been blessed with many opportunities.  I presently serve in the capacity of Deputy Chief.  The  duties of that position include supervision of day to day operations, providing information to new agencies and enforcing the City ordinances as they relate to Life Safety.  I also  serve the members of the department and the citizens we serve as the Fire Department Chaplain.  On my days off I pastor Orchard View Baptist Church in Oliver Springs.  I have been married to my wife Joy for 31 years and we have two sons, and three grandchildren.  I enjoy riding my motorcycle, hunting, fishing and any activity which allows me time with my family.
